Hi there, I’m Elise, a marketing and communications specialist. I deliver brand objectives, write amazing content and communicate ideas. I’m commended on my organisation skills and ability to intuitively understand customer experiences and efficiently deliver projects on time and on budget.

My career started out in hospitality and events. From Maccas to bars, then running functions, conferences, weddings, exhibitions and a restaurant at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. While working at BCEC I studied a Bachelor of Int Hotel & Tourism Management, with majors in events at UQ.

I soon became interested in writing and digital and pivoted into a Marketing role at BCEC where I was responsible for the venue’s websites, app, social media, campaigns, database, media communications, content and digital strategy.

To add to my skills I studied a diploma of Graphic Design whilst working full-time and starting my own freelance business. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients across marketing and design to grow their business including skincare, landscaping, make-up, lighting design, restaurants and more.

I am currently Marketing Manager at VALD. Born out of research from the Queensland University of Technology, VALD is sports and health technology powered by an international, multidisciplinary team of sports scientists, researchers, clinicians, designers, developers and engineers, all dedicated to improving human measurement.

Outside of work I’m a mum, dog person, meal planner, gin enthusiast, traveller, indoor-plant lover, podcast listener and ex food blogger.
