Marketing
With a decade of marketing experience I am a true all-rounder with digital and traditional marketing experience. I have planned and executed a number of strategies and campaigns, managed budgets and organised international trade shows.
Design
Working with brands to define their strategy, look and feel is one of my favourite things to do. I have developed logos, packaging design, presentations and infograhics. I am also passionate about helping small business owners – ask me about self-service templates for your proposals and social media accounts.
About Me
Hi there👋
I’m Elise, a marketing and communications specialist.
My career started out in hospitality and events. From Maccas to bars, then running functions, conferences, weddings, exhibitions and a restaurant at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. While working at BCEC I studied a Bachelor of Hotel and Tourism Management, with majors in events at UQ.
I soon became interested in writing and pivoted into a marketing role at BCEC, where I was responsible for the venue’s websites, app, social media, campaigns, database, media communications, content and digital strategy.
To add to my skills I studied a diploma of graphic design whilst working full-time and starting my own freelance business. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients across marketing and design to grow their business including skincare, landscaping, make-up, lighting design, restaurants and more.
In my next career step, I spent six years in marketing leadership roles for tech startups developing B2B and B2C marketing strategies for SaaS products.
